Branch River is on the west side of Manitowoc just a few minutes off I-43 at US 10 to the west.

The course's fairways are defined by mature, hardwood tree lined corridors featuring numerous slight doglegs, and located on the west side of the Branch River which is in play on two holes. It's a shot maker's layout with ponds or streams in play on over half the holes and sand bunkers defending many of the greens and the occasional fairway landing zones. It was designed by Bill Diddle and plays to 6,696 yards from the tips, 72.5/125, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
