Clover Valley is northwest of Johnstown on Rt 37 between Johnstown and Sunbury.

The layout is a mix of open, links style holes while others are along tree lined fairways with sand bunkers defending the landing zones and greens and lakes and streams in play on the majority of the holes. The fairways are mostly wide open off the tee but bordered by tall prairie or fescue grasses with stands of mature hardwoods at the margins.
