Colonial is northeast of Harrisburg off I-81 at the Mountain Rd exit.

The golf course is a parkland layout with trees lining all the fairways, a few of which are tunnel-like, as it moves along a scenic setting with the mountains as a backdrop. The par-4s at 9 and 18 are bruisers and the par-3 17th can confound, but the real standout is the three shotter, par-5 14th around a pond. It's overall a challenging layout from the middle, White tees 6,341 yards, 70.8/130, course/slope ratings with five tees overall. The course was originally designed in the 1950s by Dave and Bill Gordon with an Art Hills redesign in 2003.
