The Deer Run Golf Course is three miles south of Moulton traveling over a large, natural tract of land surrounded by farmland and forests.

The golf course is a parkland layout with unique and isolated, tree lined fairways over rolling terrain adjoining the Bankhead National Forest. The course has 5 lakes, 30 sand bunkers, and several dramatic doglegs over a mixture of mountainous and level terrain. There's four sets of tees overall with the tips playing to 6,745 yards, 70.9/119, course/slope ratings, designed by Earl Stone.
