Fox Creek is off US 15 between Hartsville and Bishopville 30 minutes west of Florence off I-20 at exit 131 then north.

The layout is parkland style through the pine trees over rolling terrain with a mix of open and narrow, fairway corridors off the tee. It's surrounded by forests and farmland in a natural setting with streams, ponds, and sand bunkers along the fairways and guarding the greens. The course was designed by James Goodson and plays to a par of 72, at 6,903 yards from the tips, 72.7/128, course/slope ratings with four shorter tee boxes.
