Gates Four is on the west side of Fayetteville off Lakewood Drive within an upscale, residential community, and is a private club with a "member for a day" option for public golf.

The course spans a large tract of land through the community and is carved through the woods along unique and isolated, fairway corridors. It's dotted with ponds, streams, and wetlands with sand bunkers dispersed about the landing zones off the tee and guarding the contoured green complexes. It will play to 6,895 yards, 73.3/132, course/slope ratings off the black tees with four shorter tees, designed by Willard Byrd.
