The Veterans Memorial Golf Course at the Lake Blackshear Resort is about 5 miles west of the I-75/Cordele exit in the State Park on the east side of Lake Blackshear.

The golf course is a challenging, parkland layout with trees lining the mounded fairways along multiple water hazards and sand traps mostly greenside. It plays to 6,483 yards from the blue tees, 71.8/126, course/slope ratings, designed by Denis Griffiths in 1990.
