Great Waters is within the Reynolds Plantation development and was designed by Jack Nicklaus in 1992.

The front side is parkland style through the dense trees with some elevation change and water hazards on six holes while all of the backside's holes move along Lake Oconee in a stunning setting. It's seemingly forgiving off the tee save for the sand bunkers at the landing zones, but the approaches to the greens are narrow with the contoured and sloped greens generally quick. It plays to 6,581 yards from the Two tees, 73.6/133, course/slope ratings with one longer and four shorter tees.
