Heartland Crossing is located on the southwest side of Indianapolis off IN 67 partially within a residential community.

The golf course is a links layout featuring open fairways bordered by tall fescue but with numerous individual and clustered sand bunkers along the fairways and defending the generous greens and several water features in play. It plays to 7,267 yards, 75.4/134, course/slope ratings from the back tees with five shorter tees, designed by Steve Smyers and Nick Price.
