Hillcrest is a classic, Donald Ross design from the early 1900s on the southeast side of KC off either US 71 or I-435 at 87th Street on the south side of Swope Park.

The golf course is a stereotypical, Ross parkland design over rolling topography with old growth, hardwood trees lining the fairways along subtle doglegs leading to modest, perched greens well guarded by sand bunkers. It's 6,763 yards 72.8/132, course/slope ratings from the tips, the Blue tees are 6,301 yards, 70.8/127.
