Innsbruck is 45 minutes southeast of Blairsville near Helen in the North Georgia mountains.

The course is a parkland layout carved through a forest along narrow fairways where off-line shots are a stroke lost. Odd lies are commonplace on the hilly and sloping fairways with a large lake, multiple ponds, and a stream impacting play in addition to a modest amount of sand traps. There's four sets of tees overall with the White tees playing to 5,991 yards, 70.5/127, course/slope ratings, designed by Bill Watts in the 1980s.
