The Kerr Lake CC is just north of Henderson off I-85 on the southeast side of Kerr Lake.

The golf course is a traditional layout winding along tree lined fairways over rolling hills through a residential community. It's a scenic setting with interesting and diverse holes as it moves along multiple water hazards with sand bunkering mostly around the greens tucked into coves of trees. It was designed by Ricci Boni and is 6,430 yards from the tips, the White tees are at 6,185 yards, 70.0/122, course/slope ratings.
