Mountain Laurel is in the Poconos just east of White Haven off I-80 at exit 274 to the south an hour or so from Philadelphia, New York, and northern New Jersey.

The golf course is a parkland layout carved through a clearing in the deep woods over rolling terrain. It's generally straightforward with a stream and several lakes/ponds in play and sand bunkers defending the greens of varying shapes and sizes. It was designed by Geoffrey Cornish in 1968 and plays to 6,988 yards from the back tees 72.6/126, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees.
