Red Mountain Ranch CC is east of Scottsdale in Mesa off the 202 at Power Road to the north.

The layout winds through a well developed residential community over land with a reasonable amount of elevation change. It's a modified desert layout with the mounded fairways bordered by natural terrain, mesquite, cacti, and rock formations. There's water features in play on four holes and a generous amount of pot and grass bunkers in play and tiered greens. From the tips it can play to 6.744 yards, 73.3/144, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees, designed by Pete and Perry Dye.
