Sarasota National is in the Venice area just off the Trail between Venice and North Port in a residential community.

It's an open layout along broad landing areas off the tee with a generous amount of sand bunkers and water hazards in play at the fairways and defending the generous, contoured greens. It was designed by Gordy Lewis and from the gold tees plays to 6,559 yards, 71.9/129, course/slope ratings with one longer and three shorter tee boxes.
