The Dunes Course at La Quinta is located at the southeast intersection of Avenue 50 and Eisenhower.

The golf course is an open, links-style layout roving along mounded fairways over level terrain in an upscale, residential development. There's eight water features in total, an abundance and variety of shapes and sizes of sand bunkers, and small, contoured and undulating greens. There's five sets of tees from 4,877 yards to 6,712 yards at the tips with the middle tees playing to 6,324 yards, 70.8/128, course/slope ratings, a Pete Dye design.
