The Links winds through a dense, residential development off the Packard Parkway to the south on the east side of Lake San Marcos.

The golf course ambles along fairways defined by stands of trees over varying degrees of elevation change. There's a series of gentle doglegs both left and right with streams in play on two holes and only 30+ sand bunkers posted mostly greenside. It can play to 6,398 yards, 71.7/129, course/slope ratings off the back tees with three shorter tees, designed by Harry and David Rainville.
