The Mountain Course at La Quinta is tucked up against the Santa Rosa Mountains just off Eisenhower at Calle Mazatlan.

The golf course is a target layout where course management prevails both off the tee and on approach to the modest, raised greens. It's littered with an array of shapes and sizes of sand bunkers with five water hazards overall. The front nine is somewhat pedestrian compared to the entertaining and stunning backside where elevation changes and fairways cut through mountain terrain provide for a thrilling finish.
