Willow Point is just south of Alexander City and 45 minutes north of Auburn set out on a peninsula of Lake Martin and is open to guests of the rental units in the development.

The golf course is a parkland layout traversing tree lined fairways over rolling terrain in a scenic setting along Lake Martin with a moderate amount of sand bunkers and numerous water hazards. The front side is more open and accommodating with tall fescue lined, broad fairways while the back side is where Lake Martin comes into play on six holes. There's four sets of tees overall, the middle tees are 6,631 yards, 72.2/135, course/slope ratings, originally designed by Tom Nichol in the early 1960s with redesign work by Hurdzan & Fry in 2002.
