The 1000 Islands Country Club is on Wellesley Island and Alexandria Bay, between the United States and Canada, on the Saint Lawrence River. It has two 18-hole golf courses.

The Old Course is a step back in time with an interesting variety of links and parkland-style design elements. The layout features elevated tees, numerous water hazards and sand traps, and Lilliputian raised greens. The tees play from 5,250 yards to 6,303 yards at the tips, and the course/slope ratings are 70.5/127. It was designed by Seth Raynor in 1898.

The Lake has a scenic and challenging layout, with water and trees in play as it winds its way through Boldt Castle's old gondola canals along an upscale residential development. It's a short par 70 layout that plays to 5,005 yards at the tips, 70.0/113, course/slope ratings.
