12 Shores at Ute Lake is a nine-hole Jack Nicklaus design on the south shore of Ute Lake between Logan and Tucumcari. If you're coming from Texas, exit 355 off I-40 or 329 at Tucumcari if you're coming from the west.

The course treks through a future real estate development along the Lake in a scenic setting. The layout is mostly level, with a few holes along the Lake and bordering the wetlands. A classic Nicklaus design provides significant sand bunkering where strategic play is required. The fairways are bordered by tall native grasses well off from the desert terrain and are mounded and undulating throughout, with mildly undulating, generous greens. There are four sets of tees, the white tees play to 6,016, 67.2/121, course/slope.
