Agate Beach Golf Course is just a few miles north of Newport and a 9-iron from the beach.

The 9-hole course is a parkland layout that loops among windswept fairways defined by evergreens over slightly rolling terrain. It's a playable 2,905 yards from the back tees, 33.4/112, course/slope with a par of 36, designed by Frank Stenzel, Sr.
