Alburg is just south of Quebec in Vermont between I-87 and I-89 on the Alburgh Tongue, a peninsula extending from Canada into Lake Champlain.
The course provides views of Northern Lake Champlain, the Green Mountains in Vermont, and the Adirondacks in New York, and is one of the finer settings in golf. The golf course though is a somewhat pedestrian, parkland layout with scattered trees along the fairways, a minimal amount of sand bunkers, and Sucker Brook cutting through the middle of the course. From the blue tees it's 6,537 yards, 70.1/121, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Walter Barcomb.
