Alisal has two championship, 18 holes courses located on the south side of Solvang along with a classic California Resort Hotel and Spa.

The Ranch is a traditional layout along narrow fairways lined by stands of oaks, sycamores, and eucalyptus trees with a barranca and Alisal Creek to negotiate on most of the course. It was designed by William Bell in 1956 and plays to 6,542 yards, 72.0/133, course/slope ratings from the tips with two shorter tees.

The River meanders along the Santa Ynez River through tree lined fairways with well bunkered landing zones and greens and numerous water features. It's a scenic setting in the River Valley with the Santa Ynez Mountains as a background and is without homes or development along the golf course. It's 6,830 yards from the Gold tees, 73.1/126, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees, with design work by Jack Daray, Jr and the Hallsey Group.
