Alpine CC is north of Big Bend in the West Texas mountains on the north side of town on the Loop Road.

The 9 hole golf course wanders around and through the generally dry Kokernut Creek along scattered tree lined fairways leading to tiny, slightly elevated mushrooms they call greens here. The unique clubhouse is of natural rock which is plentiful in this area and is situated below the hills and along the Creek. The layout has two sets of tees with the back tees playing to 2,788 yards, 33.7/115, course/slope ratings.
