Androscoggin is on the east side of Gorham on Main Street about 30 minutes west of Bethel.

The layout marches over fairly level terrain along the Peabody River. It's somewhat forgiving off the tee with scattered trees along the fairways, numerous streams and wetlands, and a scattering of sand bunkers around the small, raised greens in a scenic setting with views of Mt. Washington. It's a classic design by Horace Smith and Alex Chisolm that's been updated recently and short at 6,145 yards, with a 67.9/118, course/slope ratings from the tips with two shorter tees.
