Annbriar is on the Illinois side of the St Louis area 40 minutes from downtown and northwest of Waterloo off Route 3 surrounded by farmland and forests.

The golf course flows from undulating meadows to woodland and valley settings along broad fairways with unique and isolated holes. There's water hazards on over half the holes and a generous amount of sand traps defending the fairways and greens. The front side may seem a somewhat pedestrian start, but the stellar back side more than makes up for it. The course plays to 6,863 yards from the tips, 72.8/136, course/slope ratings with four shorter tee boxes, designed by Hurdzan/Fry in 1993.
