Apostle Highlands is on the northern tip of Wisconsin on Lake Superior at Bayfield and the Apostle Islands Park.

The golf course is situated on a bluff 700 feet above and overlooking the Lake and Madeline Island. It features a mix of narrow and broad, fairways lined by trees over a large, natural tract of hilly terrain with sand bunkers and water hazards in play along the fairways and defending the greens. It plays to 6,333 yards from the blue tees, 70.7/129, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees, designed by Bill Korpella.
