Arbor Trace is off I-69 at exit 73 on the north side of Marion, halfway between Fort Wayne and Indianapolis.

The golf course's layout is fair and forgiving, with scattered tree-lined fairways along numerous ponds and lakes with minimal sand traps and modest, oval greens. It was designed in the mid-1960s by Harold Lamboley, and from the black tees, it's 6,535 yards, 71.1/116, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
