Arbor Trace is off I-69 at exit 73 on the north side of Marion halfway between Fort Wayne and Indianapolis.

The golf course's layout is fair and forgiving with scattered tree lined fairways along numerous ponds and lakes with minimal sand traps, and modest, oval greens. It was designed in the mid-1960s by Harold Lamboley and from the black tees it's 6,535 yards, 71.1/116, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
