Archer City CC is a 9 hole layout on the south side of Archer (The Last Picture Show) about 40 minutes south of Wichita Falls in north central Texas.

The layout flows over level land with scattered mesquite trees along the fairways on the east side of Carver Lake. There's numerous ponds and streams, an interesting 45 degree dogleg, and small to mid-sized round greens level with the fairways. There's a relatively new clubhouse, the original is a fashionable, 1920s mansion and home to the Last Picture Show director, Larry McMurtry. The course plays to a par 35 at 2,675 yards from the back tees.
