Arrowhead Pointe is about 1 1/2 hours east of I-85 at the Commerce exit in the Richard B. Russell State Park.

The course lumbers through the thick forests on a peninsula within the state park offering stunning views of the Lake with 10 of the 18 holes skirting the lake. There's numerous elevated tees and raised greens with the tree lined fairways moving through a series of elevation changes and along doglegs with several water hazards in play and sand bunkers along the fairways and greens. The golf course was designed by Ken Baker and Bob Walker with four sets of tees from 5,220 yards to 6.788 yards at the tips, 72.5/134, course/slope ratings.
