Atkinson is 45 minutes north of Boston, off I-93 to the east, just across the Massachusetts border in New Hampshire.

The golf course is a challenging parkland-style layout marching over a large tract of rolling terrain along unique and isolated, tree-lined corridors. There are water hazards in play on six holes and sand traps through the fairways and defending the greens. It's a par 72 layout at 6,580 yards from the tips, 72.1/135 course/slope ratings with four shorter tees, designed by Phil Wogan in the late 1990s.
