Barnsley Gardens is a resort located 78 miles north of Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Northwest Georgia in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains off Interstate 75 to the west at Adairsville. It's a historic estate with golf as the premier activity but also has fly fishing with Orvis, lawn games, tennis, billiards, horseback riding, a spa, and a magnificent garden.

The layout begins with gentle, wide open, links-style fairways but soon escalates literally as it winds up into heavily forested and hilly terrain for the balance of the round. There are numerous creeks and ponds in play, a generous amount of sand traps, and a host of elevated tees and greens. It's 7,350 yards, 74.5/141, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tee boxes, designed by Jim Fazio.
