Bass Lake is north of Antigo, an hour northwest of Green Bay, and 30 minutes north of Wausau in northern Wisconsin.

The golf course is a classic, parkland layout over hilly and forested land on the east side of Bass Lake along relatively narrow fairway corridors with water on seven holes. It plays from 4,769 to 6,308 yards at the tips, 69.7/122, course/slope ratings. It's been around since the 1920s and Larry Packard was involved in some of the design change over the years.
