The Bay Pointe Resort & Golf Club is 18 miles northeast of Jackson on MS 25 on the east side of the Ross Barnett Reservoir.

The layout is a shot maker's paradise as it winds through narrow corridors framed by dense woods along a series of slight and dramatic, doglegs. There's ponds and wetlands in play on the majority of the holes in addition to traditional sand traps and sandy waste areas adding to the course management challenge. The golf course was designed by Marvin Ferguson and plays to 6,713 yards, 71.9/123, course/slope ratings off the back tees with three shorter tee boxes.
