Beau Pre`is south of Natchez off US 61 on a generous tract of land with Second Creek at the southern border of the layout.

The course is a traditional design etched through the pine trees over hilly land, with each hole isolated and unique. It's a challenging layout with few water hazards and a modest amount of sand traps along the narrow, sloping, tree-lined fairways, rarely providing a level lie. It was designed by Mike Young in the late 1990s, and from the Black tees plays, to 6,993 yards, 73.3/130, course/slope ratings with three other tee boxes as short as 5,180 yards.
