The Beechwood CC is 9 miles south of Murfreesboro on the north side of Ahoskie off US 13 at NC 11 to the north.

The golf course is carved through a slight clearing in the deep woods over level fairways defined by stands of hardwoods or dense forest at the borders. It's dotted with streams and ponds in addition to a generous amount and variety of sand bunkers along the fairways and fortifying the greens. It will play to 6,516 yards, 71.2/127, course/slope ratings off the back tees with three shorter tees available, designed by Russell Breeden. .
