The city of Bemidji is in north-central Minnesota, about 100 miles from the Canadian border, on the west shore of Lake Bemidji. There, the twenty-foot-tall statue of Paul Bunyan and the ten-foot-high statue of Babe his blue ox, symbols of the long-time lumber industry, stand sentry.

The Town and Country Club is a classic layout from 1916 located on a large tract of land on the north shore of Lake Bemidji. It's a parkland design with several water hazards along narrow, tree-lined fairways featuring numerous slight doglegs and sand traps defending the greens. There are five sets of tees from 5,058 to 6,545 yards, 71.9/135, course/slope ratings from the back tees, redesigned by Joel Goldstrand.
