Bent Tree is east of Council Bluffs off I-80 at exit 8/Hackberry Road.

The golf course is an open, links-style design through a residential community, with the fairways bordered by tall prairie grasses. Water is in play on four holes, and sand bunkers defend the fairways and greens as the layout meanders over rolling terrain. From the black tees, it's 7,022 yards, 74.4/130, course/slope ratings, with four shorter sets of tees down to 5,152 yards, designed by Jeff Brauer.
