Big Fish is on the east side of Hayward ambling over a large, natural tract of land surrounded by forests and fields.

The layout is links-style on the front side with open, slightly rolling terrain and a plethora of sand bunkers along mounded fairways while the backside is carved through deep woods over tumbling topography. There's five sets of tees overall, the tips play to 7,231 yards, 74.0/136, course/slope ratings, the middle tees are 6,084 yards, 69.6/127 course/slope, designed by Pete Dye and Tim Liddy.
