Big Rock CC is an hour northeast of Waterloo on the east side of Fayette along the Volga River.

The golf course journeys through a natural area without homes or development along the holes in a scenic, quiet setting. The layout has a little of everything with rolling hills, water hazards, sand bunkers, doglegs, and small to mid-size greens. It's a short, parkland layout designed by Jim Spears playing to 6,085 yards from the tips, par of 71 with a 69.0/129 slope and course ratings with two shorter tees.
