Birch Creek is a municipal golf course located a few miles north of Logan in Smithfield, off Main Street to the east.

The course is challenging as it traverses tree-lined fairways over fairly level land with views of the mountains throughout. It's a straightforward design providing numerous slight doglegs along fairways defined by trees with moderate use of sand bunkers both at the landing areas and around the mid-sized greens. The golf course was designed by Bill Hall and Ray Howard and is 6,824 yards from the back tees, 72.2/124, course/slope ratings off the back tees, with three shorter tees.
