The Bishop Country Club is a mile south of town between the White Mountains and the Sierras.

The flat, but scenic layout is mostly wide open off the tee along broad, tree lined fairways with numerous water hazards and a variety of conventional and waste bunkers along the fairways and around the modest greens. It was designed by Joe Williams in the 1950s and plays to 6,613 yards, par 71, 71.2/130, course/slope ratings from the tips with five shorter tees.
