Black Mesa Golf Club is located 20 minutes north of Santa Fe on the Santa Clara Pueblo at 5,400 feet in elevation.

The course climbs over some 1,100 acres of sandstone landforms with varying degrees of elevation changes through the scrub brush desert ridges and arroyos, using the lay of the land much as it was. It's a scenic but challenging layout with blind shots, narrow landing areas, and well-guarded green complexes. It plays to 7,307 yards, 73.9/141 course/slope ratings from the tips with four shorter tees, designed by Baxter Spann.
