Blackhorse Golf Club is off 290 in Cypress about 40 minutes northwest of downtown Houston at Spring Cypress with two 18 hole championship courses.

Both layouts are parkland style designs along elm, ash, and oak tree lined fairways surrounded by residential development on the exterior holes. They're equally as challenging with water and/or wetlands in play on at least half of the holes and an abundance of shapes and sizes of sand traps defending the landing zones and large, contoured, and undulating greens. The North course from the Jake tees is 7,301 yards, 75.0/136, course/slope ratings; The South course is 7,191 yards, 74.9/135 with a total of 6 set of tees overall, designed by Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy.
