Blue Ridge Shadows is about an hour west of the NOVA area off I-66 north of Front Royal in a scenic setting in the Shenandoah Valley surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains.

It's a parkland layout over hilly land as it was through tree lined and split fairways along ridge lines and features a 50 foot waterfall. The layout is strategic with numerous water hazards and well placed sand bunkers along the fairways and guarding the large, contoured greens. Tom Clark designed the stunning layout of 7,315 yards, 75.5/143, course/slope ratings from the back tees with four shorter sets of tees.
