The Boca Raton Resort was built in the 1920s and is a classic, Mediterranean style resort designed by Addison Mizner with a grand hotel and setting. It's between Federal Highway and the Intracoastal south of Palmetto Park with two 18 hole courses available to guests of the resort.
The Resort course has slight elevation change along numerous water hazards with a liberal use of sand bunkers and the greens elevated with collection areas. It was originally designed by William Flynn in the 1920s with recent redesign work by Gene Bates. It's a short and compact layout, a par of 71 at 6,253 yards from the tips, 69.5/130, course/slope ratings and four shorter tees.
The Country Club is located 6 miles north of the Resort within a residential development. It's a somewhat typical Florida style layout as it moves over level land with homes lining the holes. There's scattered tropical trees lining the fairways, water features on most holes, and well bunkered fairways and greens. It was designed by Joe Lee and from the gold tees it plays to 6,714 yards, 73.0/41, course/slope with thee shorter tees.
