The Boone Golf Club is located just south of Boone on Hwy. 321.

The routing is a mix of open and narrow, tree lined fairways along slight doglegs bordering numerous water hazards including the South Fork of the New River. It's overall very straightforward with mid-sized, raised greens guarded by a modest amount of sand bunkers. The golf course is an Ellis Maples design built in 1959 and is 6,686 yards, 71.3/128, course/slope ratings from the back tees with three shorter sets of tees.
