Brainerd is a municipal golf course east of Chattanooga on the west side of Chickamauga Creek.

The golf course is a classic layout from the 1920s winding along rolling, mature hardwood tree lined fairways with multiple water features leading to minuscule, elevated greens well defended by deep faced sand bunkers. It can play to 6,470 yards, 71.1/125, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tees, designed by Donald Ross.
