Bridgton Highlands GC is situated between Highland and Long Lakes about 40 miles northwest of Portland in Bridgton in a scenic setting providing distant mountain views.

The layout was laid into a large, natural tract of forestland on generally level topography. It traverses a series of parallel, tree lined fairways in addition to those along unique and isolated, corridors bounded by the deep woods. There's multiple ponds, streams, and natural areas to avoid in addition to the sprinkling of sand bunkers mostly greenside. It can play to 6,224 yards, 70.5/126, course/slope ratings off the back tees with three shorter tees, an original nine by A.W. Tillinghast, two holes by Cornish and Silva, and the new nine added by Fred Ryan.
